| Zen Meditation is scheduled every Saturday at 5:00 PM. Service and Dharma discourses are in English; chanting is in both English and Korean. Please call the temple first to assure that practice is scheduled that day at (845)-888-2231 or you can email us. | Buddha's Birthday Celebration - May 20th, 2007 - Join us in celebrating Buddha's birthday with Venerable Hye Seong Sunim officiating. Events such as speeches, traditional Korean Buddhist ceremonies, vegetarian box lunches, and a march to the Pagoda are included. Everyone is welcomed! |

Temple Stays (Retreats) - These weekend retreats will consist
of both sitting and walking mediation, chanting, cultural exchange,
including basic calligraphy lessons and Dharma talks by and personal
interviews with Zen Master, Hye Seong Sunim.

The Opening of the Mountain Celebration (Eye Opening Ceremony) - October 21, 2007 (Sunday) 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM - This ceremony is a dedication to the Mountain Bodhisattva who continues to bless and protect us on this sacred mountain on which our temple is built. Everyone, regardless of belief system, is welcomed to join us on this glorious day! Many activities are in store. A delicious, vegetarian box lunch is provided. |
